Know Your Base: A Workshop mit Mirjam Haymann

Every single day our busy life presents us with moments we would like to ‚om’ away - and more often than not, we do not succeed. In this 3-hour workshop, we will explore resources we can easily access and that help us to mindfully navigate our everyday lives, including these moments of overwhelming super stress. On and off the mat.

Mirjam will convey some of the key insights from her most recent studies in yoga, psychology, kabbalah, existential philosophy as well as from her own teacher Elena Brower and her work as a mother. Brace yourself for a powerful mash-up!

The workshop will consist of three parts:

  1. Methodical exploration of our inner geometry - Know where you stand to know where you go. Find the courage to be honest, authentic and to read your inner landscape without judgement.
  2. "Penetration of our mind is our goal, but in the beginning to set things in motion, there is no substitute for sweat" (BKS. Iyengar). One hour of a strong asana practice.
  3. Action - Find the courage to apply various tools as an act of self-care, self-love, and resilience. Everyone around you will feel the difference.

Hong Kong - everchanging, competitive and hectic, created an exciting stage for Mirjam Haymann to dive deeply into the studies of Yoga. She feels blessed to have completed several Anusara teacher trainings and immersions with Patrick Creelman, a highly inspiring and profound teacher.
After giving birth to her baby girl, Mirjam further attended a pre- and postnatal teacher training program with Jean Byrne and Michelle Papa. The intensive mentoring with Rinat Perlman, the managing teacher of the Pure Studio Hong Kong, was essential for her training.
For Mirjam, yoga presents the opportunity to strengthen the body, to abandon limiting behavioral and thinking patterns with a clear mind, and to confront herself and others with love.
Mirjam was born and raised in Zurich. She studied law at the University of Lucerne and is a mother of two daughters.
