Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra with Claudia Eva Reinig
Sthira Sukham Asanam - „The body posture should be stable and comfortable.“ This most famous phrase in the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali will be the theme of this workshop. Claudia invites you to experience your inner power with flowing Vinyasa, to experience vastness and space in Yin Yoga as well as inspiration and regeneration through the deep relaxation of Yoga Nidra. The mat offers us a training field, helping to clear our path so we can flow through our lives with steadiness and ease.
There are many translations of Sthira and Sukha. Some of the significant interpretations of sthira include: strong, steadfast, stable, determined, firm and also the courage to stand by one's opinion. Sukha can be translated as: comfortable, fortunate, good, happy, soft and also to be gentle with oneself.
To start off the afternoon we will use the wonderful bodily and sensory experience of Vinyasa Yoga Flow to come more fully into our power and into the present moment. The stable grounding of the body through Vinyasa Yoga allows us to establish the firmness of Sthira. Als continuation of the workshop you are invited to melt into the positions of Yin Yoga. Sukha, or placidness, relaxation and lightness can then unfold. The deep stretching in the connective tissues supports your process of letting go, allowing you to discover softness, and aids you to open yourself to the level of your emotions and visions. To end the afternoon you will be able to relax completely in Yoga Nidra.
