Karin Rüger
Karin Rüger

Karin has lived on four different continents over the past two decades; today she lives with her family near Biel. Her Yoga began precisely when she was 'secretly' yearning for something 'new' in her life, when she realized she was no longer content with her usual worldly experiences, sensual pleasures and her material success. It was at this time she was introduced to yoga, quite suddenly and intensively and became aware of the incredible effects of yoga. Due to her different areas of training, Karin is registered or licensed with Yoga Alliance (E-RYT 500), Anusara School of Hatha Yoga, Yoga for the Special Child®, LLC and as professional member of Yoga Schweiz. She instructs Teacher Trainings on both the RYT 200 and RYT 500 levels in Biel/Bienne, with a strong focus on the branches of Raja Yoga. Foremost, Karin is a student treading the path with sincerety and celebrates the power and order of the Highest. Her teachings root in that what she knows and what she experiences. She teaches in German and English. For more information please also see http://www.yogassva.com

Gisela Collazo
Gisela Collazo

Since her first encounter with Yoga in 1995, Gisela has practiced and studied with many amazing and gifted teachers. She has delved into Kundalini Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga Vinyasa in Mysore, Anusara, Classical Hatha Yoga and Birthlight Pre + Postnatal and Well Woman Yoga. She has completed over 500-hours Yoga Alliance accredited training and many further education courses. She is a Training Tutor for Birthlight and leads international trainings in Perinatal Yoga.
Gisela has been teaching since 2004. By guiding her students through the physical form and focusing on the breath, she invites them to make their own inner explorations and discover the qualities of joy and gratitude that lie within themselves. Students appreciate her calm and positive manner, her precise and detailed instructions, and the mix of power and restoration that they take away from her classes.
Gisela's work in Birthlight Yoga has enriched her practice and teaching immensely. By freeing up the rigid physical form of asana to tune into the body's rhythms and seasons, we develop a deep awareness and confidence in our own intuitive wisdom. We promote trust, faith and acceptance for what is, and make space for what is to come. We foster self-nurture and gentleness towards ourselves, which we can then spread to those around us.
Gisela teaches her classes in English. For more information visit her website www.yogaprema.ch

Ciara Collins-Atkins
Ciara Collins-Atkins

The dance of the human body has been Ciara’s passion for over twenty years. A dance class at 5 years old was the beginning of a life long journey with movement and led Ciara to gain both a degree and post graduate diploma in contemporary dance. Ciara then went on to gain a masters in dance movement psychotherapy (DMP). She has held both group and individual DMP for a wide range of clients including children, elderly with dementia, adults in recovery and in prisons.
DMP affirms to Ciara the transformative effect of working creatively with the body and it’s power to heal and build healthy relationships with the self and others. DMP greatly influences her relationship to yoga and is part of her unique style of teaching.
During her study of DMP, Ciara’s personal study of yoga grew to become an integral part of both her daily life and work, leading her to India to study yoga including traditional hatha yoga at The Yoga Vidya Gurukul ashram under Rishis initiated by The Bihar School of Yoga.
Yoga for Ciara is one way in which she comes home to herself no matter how far away she is from her hometown of Gloucester. Her classes, ranging from dynamic and flowing hatha yoga through to yin and restorative, are an invitation to go on your own unique journey through movement and discover the relevance of yoga to your daily life.
Ciara has lived and taught yoga in London, New York, Paris, Tunisia and most recently Zurich. She teaches in English. For more information please also see ciaracollinsatkins.com
