Workshop und Charity Special zum Jahresende mit Sabine Glück und Michael Hamilton
Some of you might have met the new AIRYOGA-family member on four legs, Miss Juna. Michael and Sabine adopted her through Pfotenhilfe Mogli, a non-profit organization active in Romania since 2014. Pfotenhilfe Mogli is a group of remarkably dedicated volunteers offering their time, energy and heart to the service of animals in Rumania. They are active on site with a home for mistreated animals, they ensure medical treatments like castrating and operations of wounded and sick animals and they are tirelessly looking for suitable permanent homes for beautiful souls.
This special is a charity event for Pfotenhilfe Mogli. Michael and Sabine will donate their earnings in the name of all the Yogis that practice on these two days together.
Both sessions include asana, pranayama, meditation, contemplation and chanting in order to relax our conceptual thinking and sensing a more intuitive truth.
Michael Hamilton and Sabine Glück will lead this special at AIRYOGA, Fabrikstrasse 10 in 8005 Zürich on

“Year’s end is neither an end nor a beginning, but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us.”
Hai Borland
We end the year with gentle and restoring asana and grounding pranayama. Guided meditation and contemplation lead us into reflecting the passing year. We carefully open our hearts to embrace both the beauty and joy we cherished, as well as the challenges that made us grow. Vibration and sound let’s our atmospheric space of the heart expand, holding light and dark in infinite space.
Monday, January 1, 2024 from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
Mary Oliver
We start the new year with a playful and empowering asana practice and invigorating pranayama. The contemplative part of this practice leads us to dreaming our wild and precious life to shape our intentions for the coming year with clarity, courage and trust. Mantras melt with the vibration of our heart carrying us into the new year with ease.
The classes are recommended to Yogis with at least two years of practice.
Michael and Sabine teach in English.
The rates are
- CHF 120 for both classes
- CHF 70 for one class
Participation is limited.

Michael Hamilton
Growing up in apartheid South Africa led Michael to an early interest in the topic of individual and collective hardship and awakened within him the yearning to address and confront the challenges it brings.
In his youth it spurned him on to political activism and rebellion, sublimated through studies in art and literature, which additionally offered helpful glimpses into the human condition. The discovery of Buddhism in his twenties brought about dramatic life changes resulting in his departure from the west to the east and long years of studies in yoga and Buddhism in Asia. After discovering satipatthana meditation with its direct application of mindfulness to progressive stages of development, he started studies in short- and long-term retreat formats with Sayday U Vivekananda.
Currently Michael is undergoing a 3-year course in essential psychology, which combines skillful methods developed in psychology with the Buddhism teachings on wisdom, in order to better facilitate development and healing in individuals and small groups. He is deeply grateful to all those that have helped and guided him on his path, particularly Daido Roshi for his acts of kindness, Vivekanada and Baddhamanika for their endless patience, Richard Freeman and Mary Taylor for their insights into approaching practice, Doug Keller for therapeutic body awareness and Wolfgang Erhard and Lama Lhündrup for awakening the Bodhisattva spirit within.
Michael lives with his wife Sabine Glück in Ticino, Switzerland.
