100-Hour Advanced Hatha Yoga Training in Goa, India with Stephen Thomas
This intensive study program under the guidance of Stephen Thomas as the main teacher includes long, intensive mornings in the three pillars of Hatha Yoga - Meditation, Pranayama, Asana.In the afternoons, the focus is on skills for direct work on Alignment, refining the subtle practices, assisting and working with modifications, sequencing for physical body and sequencing for subtle body, and specific work each day on various areas: arm balances, hip openers, upper back/shoulder release, inversions, etc. Evenings will include meditation and sound work (some evenings with classical eastern music)
AIRYOGA teacher Claire Dalloz and special guest teachers will teach some hours of the training. All classes are taught in English.
Samata offers full support with an Ayurvedic Kitchen, an amazing food and herb garden and therapy offerings in Ayurvedic massage, and Chinese Medicine.
This Advanced Training will be offered from Sunday, December 2, to Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Samata Retreat Center in North Goa, India, under the guidance of Stephen Thomas.
Stephen Thomas is an experienced Yoga teacher and practitioner. He leads Teacher Trainings, Workshops and Immersions across Asia and Europe. His teaching is deeply rooted in the traditional Yoga practices of Asana, Pranayama, and Meditation. His philosophical background is influenced by studies in the Classical systems of Yoga Philosophy as well as Tibetan Buddhism and Tantra.
Stephen studies directly with O.P. Tiwari of Kaivalyadham, India - a living master in the science of Pranayama. He blends this with his ongoing studies in Asana, Nutrition, Ayurveda, Philosophy and the varied modern evolutions of Yoga.

Claire Dalloz has been learning and teaching yoga passionately for the past 22 years. Her teaching style is influenced by the Ashtanga Vinyasa and Iyengar Yoga Schools although over the years she has adopted her own way of teaching.
Claire is an internationally certified Yoga Teacher at the 500 hour level (E-RYT500), Director of Studies for the 200-hour Teacher Training at AIRYOGA Zurich, and Co-owner of YogaTopia in Herrliberg, Switzerland.

Location and Accommodation
The training will take place at Samata, a holistic Retreat Center located in the peaceful village setting behind Arambol Beach in North Goa.
Accommodation and meals will be provided directly from Samata Goa at a reduced rate for our group. A variety of accommodation are available (see below).

Please arrive at Samata on Sunday, December 2, 2018 during the day. In the evening, there will be a meet & greet and evening practice.

This training is recommended for those wishing to deepen their practice and improve technique and theory in Yoga. You can expect to develop and deepen practice and understanding in Asana, Pranayama, and Meditation.
Students should have a solid experience in Yoga, including previous study/training.
Participation is limited to 24 students.
Price per person
CHF 1’650.- for the full yoga course (approx. 100 hours), including manual.

A non-refundable deposit of CHF 500.- is required once your participation has been confirmed by AIRYOGA.
The remainder is due on September 30, 2018. Cancellations after that date will not be refunded.
The participants will be responsible for booking their accommodation with Samata once they are accepted into the course.
Insurance is your own responsibility. We strongly recommend a travel insurance, health- and accident insurance with sufficient coverage.
