Body of Silence - Pranayama/Meditation Immersion with Stephen Thomas
For students interested in the inner journey - 4 early morning practices that explore traditional breath techniques, bandhas, yoga kriyas, and the movement of the senses inwards from concentration towards meditation.
There will also be a series of long held, restorative Asanas (including supported inversions) in each morning to complement the inner seated work. Some hand Mudra and Mantra completes these practice.
Typical Morning includes
• Opening Mantras and Readings from Classical Text
• Guided Meditation, Visualizations, Concentration techniques
• Kriyas, Bandhas, Pranayamas and Restorative Breath Practices
• Restorative Asanas
• Long Savasana and/or Yoga Nidra
Stephen Thomas is an experienced Yoga teacher and practitioner. He leads Teacher Trainings, Workshops and Immersions across Asia and Europe. His teaching is deeply rooted in the traditional Yoga practices of Asana, Pranayama, and Meditation. His philosophical background is influenced by studies in the Classical systems of Yoga Philosophy as well as Tibetan Buddhism and Tantra.
Stephen studies directly with O.P. Tiwari of Kaivalyadham, India - a living master in the science of Pranayama. He blends this with his ongoing studies in Asana, Nutrition, Ayurveda, Philosophy and the varied modern evolutions of Yoga.
Stephen Thomas will lead this Pranayama/Meditation Immersion from Thursday, October 19, through Sunday, October 22, 2017 at AIRYOGA, Fabrikstrasse 10 in 8005 Zurich.
Thursday, October 19, and Friday, October 20, 2017 from 7:30am to 10:30am

This program is ideal for all levels, except raw beginners and those very new to Yoga.
Each morning builds in progression and the course is intended to be taken as a whole program.
Stephen teaches in English.
The rate is Fr. 245.-
