Finding the Beloved: The Dance of Feminine & Masculine with Naichin Tang
The ancient Chinese Taoist Tai-Chi symbol of Ying and Yang reveals, elegantly and simply, of how the primordial feminine and masculine energies co-arising, interplaying, and interdepending. This contrary and complimentary relationship implies the same dance between mundane and divine, matters and emptiness, apana and prana, ego self and Buddha nature, as well as us as individuals, to our environment and all sentient beings.
Furthermore, as shown within the circular symbol, which forms by a black and white half, there are smaller circles nested at the very center of its opposite. It tells a secret message: the Way of Yoga, the Tao of Oneness, the key of Finding the Beloved, is embracing the very best essence of the opposite at the core of its heart.
Naichin invites you to join her together in this 4-sessions workshop, inspiring by “The Four Immeasurable”, embodying dharma teachings of Taoism and Buddhism, with yogic practices of asana, visualization, pranayama, meditation, and chanting. May our practices become a garland of divine mantra, whispering the sweet names of the entire beloved.
Each session will be open with a short talk for tuning ourselves in the inspirational theme, following by asana practice, ending with brief pranayama, meditation and closing chant to dissolve the sacred mandala.
