Meditation & Sound Healing Workshop with Punnu Singh Wasu
Meditation is a journey from sound to silence, from movement to stillness. It is the food for our soul. Meditating is a powerful way to recharge our batteries and to calm our mind down.
Buddha was asked what he has gained from meditation. He replied, “Nothing“. However, he said „Let me tell you what I lost: Anger, anxiety, depression, insecurity, fear of old age and death.”
In the first part of Punnu’s workshop you will learn a beautiful meditation called Ananda Mandala. Ananda means “bliss” in Sanskrit. It is our fundamental state of being. Mandala means “circle“. The circle is a symbol of perfection, eternity, unity and completeness.
Ananda Mandala is an ancient and very powerful chakra clearing meditation. This practice involves a blend of rhythmic breathing and meditation on the seven main chakras. This process cleanses the energy channels, washes out hidden emotions/blockages/old hurts, activates the chakras which raise your level of consciousness, make your body blissful and results in a feeling of wholeness.
Sound has been utilized in various cultures for thousands of years as a tool for the body, mind and soul of a person for harmony and healing. During the second part of this workshop you will be laying down and slowing down your breathing. By doing this, you prepare yourself to get in a meditative state of stillness and become the receiver of sounds. You will be receiving powerful mantras, sound medicine melodies and other different songs accompanied by sacred instruments in order to move in a place of complete relaxation and peace.
The benefits of sound healing are among others stress reduction, deep relaxation, improved sleep, improved concentration, and a stronger immune system. Sound healing affects all cells in your body.
