Yin meets Yang: A 4-Day Yoga Retreat in the Swiss Mountains - Sold out, Wait-list

Our world consists of the polarities of Yin and Yang, and they merge harmoniously, as symbolized in the Yin and Yang sign.

The combination of Yin and Yang Yoga is unique. Yin represents the resting, female energy - Yang the active, male energy. Our everyday life is often dominated by the Yang principle: working, performing, speed, rhythm, being active... Relaxation, a soft and intuitive approach, recharging our energies are often neglected.

During these four days we aim to bring the energies and power of Yin and Yang into harmony. In Yang Yoga, we strengthen our physical and mental concentration, building up strength and flexibility through active and attentive movement sequences. In Yin Yoga, we experience the feminine, passive, strengthening and meditative aspect of movement. In a meditative practice, Yin Yoga primarily stimulates the fascia tissue, which connects everything in our body, down to the smallest cell. Yin Yoga helps us to step out of the stress and worries of everyday life and to bring body and mind back into balance and harmony: inner strength combined with outer flexibility.
When Yin and Yang are balanced within us again, satisfaction and joy can accompany our everyday life.

To participate in this retreat, basic knowledge of yoga is recommended. The classes will be conducted in German or English.

The Yin & Yang Yoga Retreat will be offered from Thursday afternoon, July 25, to Sunday noon, July 28, 2019 at the Karunahaus in Unterwasser in the valley of Toggenburg, Switzerland.
This retreat is fully booked. There is a wait-list.
