Yin & Yang - Playfully towards Balance: A Yoga Weekend in the Valley of Toggenburg - Will take place!

In this 4-day retreat we playfully explore the opposite forces of Yin and Yang. The silent, slow, receptive Yin contrasts with the dynamic, fiery, purposeful Yang. These polarities are reflected in yoga as well as in our daily lives. In a fast-paced world where performance and work are paramount, it often seems challenging to balance and find one's way back to inner peace and power.

Balance is effortless. We get to the bottom of this statement and discover how we can play with the vital contrast between doing and being. In both the active, strengthening Yang Yoga and the passive, resting Yin Yoga, we playfully explore our limits. We use props to examine classical asanas from new perspectives. In physical asana practice, we discover playfulness - effortless, light, open-minded. In the meditations as well as in pranayama, we take time to consciously listen to silence - to perceive, regenerate and enjoy.
In our silent walking meditations at sunrise we experience the nearby Thur waterfalls as a strong source of energy and power.

To participate in this retreat, basic knowledge of yoga is recommended. The classes will be conducted in German and English.

This Yoga Retreat will take place from Thursday afternoon, July 9, to Sunday noon, July 12, 2020 at the Karunahaus in Unterwasser in the valley of Toggenburg in Switzerland.
The official regulations and protection measures regarding COVID-19 apply.
