Yoga and Happiness in Life - A Workshop Series with Marie Licht
In our hectic world we yearn for inner peace and serenity. We desire a fullfilled and happy life. Our yoga practice brings us this calmness, as well as feelings of a deep and heartfelt joy. However, we quickly lose these feelings once in the stress of our daily lives.
This workshop series shows us how we can take our lives back in our hands and how we can train our minds to be calm and satisfied regardless of our external circumstances. We all have this potential - we just need to know how we can tap into it.
Each session consists of two parts. In the first part we will examine questions to various themes, which will give us background knowledge, as well as time, to find answers to important life questions. We will explore scientifically proven methods that support us in making personal changes which open up doors for new perspectives, change and joy.
In the second part of the session we will turn our attention to our bodies, breath and mind through our asana practice. In this way we get to know ourselves better, our patterns of behaviour and thoughts, as well as our inner attitudes. This helps us to refine our attitudes, in order that we may alter them.
This workshop series is suitable for anyone who wishes to bring new impulses to their lives. It combines Western and Eastern sciences of the body, mind and soul in a creative and effective way through yoga, meditation, and positive psychology.
Marie Licht is fascinated by life. For many years she has been exploring the meaning of our existence and other themes such as happiness and fulfillment. Since 2008, yoga has been an essential and influential part of her life, spurring her to reset her priorities, to live a more conscious life, even allowing her to leave a stressful, demanding job, to discover her true calling.
Marie has been teaching yoga since 2011, sharing her joy for movement and life in a positive way with her students. Her style of Vinyasa Yoga is a choreography composed of strengthening and relaxing asanas, harmonic flows, meditation and inspiration for the mind and heart. Through her training in Coaching and Positive Psychology, Marie combines her knowledge of the body, mind and soul from a Western approach with the Eastern teachings of yoga, Dharma and meditation in a creative and inspiring manner. She supports her students in their individual journeys to know themselves better, to find their own path, and to believe in themselves so that they may walk this path, both in their yoga practice and in their lives.
