Yoga Donation Event for Indian Women in Need
Let your yoga be a practice of sharing! This event is an opportunity to directly support young Indian women in need.
At this event, Manuela Peverelli will teach a gentle and contemplative class with chanting and meditation. The proceeds will go entirely and directly to Isabelle Karan, a close friend of Manuela who lives in Central India and supports young Indian women who are in nee das a result of domestic violence or other difficult circumstances.
Manuela Peverelli teaches yoga since 2008. Her attitude and approach towards life is influenced by Tantric, Vedic and Buddhist studies and practices. She acknowledges human beings with all their uniqueness as an art work of the Universe. She intends to search for the macroscopic, wider perspective of life expressing itself rather than staying limited in the narrative view of the I-consciousness.
An education in Ayurvedic psychology at the European Ayurveda Academy in 2013 has enriched her background in Western psychiatric nursery.
Manuela’s teaching is dynamic and powerful, but at the same time a journey to the inner stillness as a refuge in this hectic and demanding world. For her, the techniques of Yoga are simply tools to create more harmony within the body and mind for recognizing the essence of the true Self.
Manuela currently lives and teaches in Zurich, but for her own studies and practice periods she spends the Winter months in Asia since almost 10 years.
