Yoga & Hiking in the Engadine with Valérie Lutz - FULLY BOOKED
The location of Sils is a place of abundant life energy and power. Poets and philosophers such as Hesse and Nietzsche praised the location and returned again and again. Unique in its fantastic lighting and vast landscape, this is truly a magical place.
Surrounded by this intense natural backdrop, we will dedicate ourselves to yoga and our inner space in the morning and in the late afternoon. On our hikes we will integrate the experiences on the mat into our experience of nature. In the spa or in the swimming pool we will dive in and relax our bodies and minds. In the evenings we will be spoilt with an à la carte 5-course menu from the outstanding and fresh kitchen of the Hotel Waldhaus.
A highly enjoyable, long weekend in a stylish but informal, casual ambience, with yoga, lots of movement outdoors, and time and again moments of contemplation and peace.
To allow space for the individual experience, participation is limited to max 10 participants.
Basic knowledge of yoga is recommended but not required for participation. Valérie will teach in German.
Valérie Lutz will offer this Yoga & Hiking retreat at the Hotel Waldhaus in Sils-Maria in the Upper Engadine from Thursday, October 17, to Sunday, October 20, 2019.

Valérie Lutz is a trained language teacher, a journalist, and since 2008 a yoga teacher. She attended her first yoga classes in the late 1980ies with charismatic Indian master Selvarajan Yesudian in Zurich. As co-founder of AIRYOGA, she has been fortunate to experience many different yoga traditions and to learn from wonderful yoga teachers since 2003. Stephen Thomas has been her main teacher for many years now.
Valérie successfully completed both the Yoga Alliance registered 200-hour and 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training courses at AIRYOGA. The knowledge that she has gained over the years in more than 500 hours of continuing education (including but not limited to Yoga Nidra and Yin Yoga), in intensive trainings and retreats flows naturally into her practice and teaching. She teaches flowing Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga, adapting it to the needs of her students.
Sils and the region of Engadine has been Valérie's second home for over 30 years. She knows the area in all of the yearly seasons and continuous to be fascinated anew by its beauty and uniqueness.

The cuisine is varied and flavorful, and makes use of regional and seasonal ingredients whenever possible. The à la carte 5-course menus always feature vegetarian dishes too to choose from.
