Psychological Foundations for Yoga Teachers: A four-part Course with Mira Popper
With yoga, we teachers hold an effective instrument in our hands that is much more than just a training for the body. Yoga offers the possibility for psychological self-awareness and transformation. Our teaching can uncover hidden structures and psychic-physical patterns that we and our students can transform in a serious practice, if we know what to look for.
If we as yoga teachers understand the psychological foundations of yoga and have a basic understanding of the psychic structure of human beings with their psychological development, protective structures and opportunities for transformation, we can take our own yoga practice and those of our students to a new level.
This four-part course introduces you to the Western and Eastern understanding of the psyche. It includes theory, self-awareness and practical exercises.
