Prenatal yoga: time for you and your miracle

Pregnancy is a time of great physical and emotional changes in a woman’s life. A new life is growing under the heart of women. Yoga can bring calm, peace and serenity to mother and child. Let yourself fall into a protected space through the professional guidance of our teachers, notice the new feelings and changes in your body and gain inner strength to allow these changes. It is a great concern of our teachers that the women can cultivate self-care in everyday life and strengthen their confidence in themselves through improved body awareness and stress reduction.

The adapted yoga exercises specifically support the back and pelvis, stimulate circulation and relieve any tension. Special breathing exercises help the expectant mother to connect with the growing child and to better accept, breathe away and let go of the contractions during birth. During meditation and visualizations, women immerse themselves in deep connection with their child. This brings the body and mind back into balance – a relaxed sense of well-being. 

At AIRYOGA, yoga classes for pregnant women are designed with the changing female body in mind. The focus in pregnancy yoga classes is on body awareness, optimal breathing and exercises that are adapted for each stage of pregnancy. 

Starting pregnancy yoga is recommended from the 12th week of pregnancy. No previous experience is necessary. Just be at the studio 15 minutes before the class starts. Comfortable workout pants/leggings and T-shirt are ideal yoga attire.

Our yoga classes for pregnant women take place on Wednesday at 12:15 pm (60 minutes).
