The rudraksha seeds, often called magic pearl, are known for numerous mystical powers. Necklaces of rudraksha seeds, called mala are worn by yogis and saints in India and widely used for japa meditation. The result is a peaceful mind and a sharp concentration. It is also said that rudraksha seeds provide protection and that they have a healing effect on the body.
