Kimi is a trained musical dancer and has been performing on stage as a professional dancer and choreographer for over 20 years. She came across yoga 17 years ago while looking for something to complement her daily dance training. She quickly realized that yoga is not just about positions on the mat, but also challenges and supports the whole body and mind, and how she found a satisfying balance to her fast-paced career through regular practice.
In 2007 Kimi successfully completed the 200-hour yoga teacher training and in 2013 the 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training of the Yoga Alliance at AIRYOGA. This was followed by three Anusara Immersions and a Teacher Training with Katchie Ananda, modules with Shiva Rea and the Intensive Teacher Training with Max Strom.
Various workshops introduced Kimi to different yoga styles.
Her teaching style is dynamic and gentle and suitable for all practitioners. It includes aspects of Vinyasa, Hatha and Anusara Yoga as well as the Inner Axis teachings of Max Strom.
In addition to the wisdom and teachings of yoga for health, healing and physical well-being, the focus is on mindfulness for deep breathing. Kimi teaches in German, but also in English if required.
