Functional Yoga with Stefanie Castson

In this Functional Yoga Workshop we will bring Yoga and the Functional application of resistance and assistance together. We will breath and move with the help of use of the MSA Strap. Applying resistance and assistance with the elastic loop band will allow us to integrate key body structures such as the core, shoulders and hips. While strengthening and lengthening the body, familiar asanas and exercise to support the practice will be available in a whole new way.

After a 90 minute practice we will take the last hour to apply pressure with the double balls for self fascia release. Calming the nervous system in an effective and self efficient way.

Stefanie Castson is a Bsc Physiotherapist, Yoga Instructor (E-RYT 500hr & RPYT), founder of MSA Health – a Movement Science Academy, and Functional Movement fanatic!
Coming from the western side of science, the practice of Yoga has provided a very holistic way of healing. Benefiting, studying and educating about both is what has allowed Stefanie to design the MSA Products and practices, bringing both aspects together.
As a Mum and a RPYT, she also offers pre and post-natal trainings.
She lives with her family near Zurich, Switzerland.

Stefanie Castson will offer this workshop at AIRYOGA, Fabrikstrasse 10 in 8005 Zurich on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.

The workshop is recommended for all who want to know more about their body and the stability required to gain ability in a Yoga Asana Practice.

The MSA Loop Strap and Fascia Double Balls will be provided and are also available with a discount for purchase after the workshop.

Stefanie teaches in German with English translation.

The rate is CHF 85.-.
