Matt Champoux has been a student of yoga since 2000 and is an internationally recognized teacher with 500+ hours of training (ERYT500). Based in San Francisco, he directs a Mysore-Style Ashtanga program at The Mindful Body and teaches Vinyasa with Yoga Tree and YogaWorks. He is a lifelong student of yoga philosophy (Hindu and Buddhist) and the shamanic traditions of Amazonia. These traditions inform and color his teachings on vinyasa and Ashtanga as taught by his root teachers, Richard Freeman and Mary Taylor.
In addition to studies with Richard and Mary and in Mysore, with Sharath and Pattabhi Jois, Matt has spent years studying with Iyengar teachers and other therapeutic yoga methods. Of the numerous teachers and mentors he has had over the years, Matt has been deeply inspired by Maty Ezraty, Chuck Miller, Dan Michael, Ramanand Patel, Gabriella Giubilaro, Rodney Yee, John Friend, and Dr. Robert Thurman.

Nina Calame

Nina Calame discovered yoga after years of gymnastics, jazz and african dance. Since 2000, after her third child, she dedicated herself more intensively to yoga and completed many workshops. From John Scott, Leela Miller, Danny Paradise, Richard Freeman, David Swenson, Petri Räisänen, Rolf Naujokat, Chuck Miller, Maty Ezraty, Manju Jois, Kino MacGregor, Matt Crigliano, Brett Porzio, Eddie Stern, Tim Miller, Michael Hamilton, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and Sharath Rangaswamyshe she learned Ashtanga Yoga. Her stay in Mysore confirmed here love for ashtanga.
Nina aquired her yoga teacher diploma with Ana Forrest in the US. She has been trained in Baby&Me classes with Jyothi Larson and also received a certification in Prenatal.
