Hong Kong - ever-changing, competitive and hectic, created an exciting stage for Mirjam to dive deeply into the studies of Yoga. She feels blessed to have completed several Anusara teacher trainings and immersions with Patrick Creelman, a highly inspiring and profound teacher. After giving birth to her baby girl, Mirjam further attended a pre- and postnatal teacher training program with Jean Byrne and Michelle Papa. The intensive mentoring with Rinat Perlman, the managing teacher of the Pure Studio Hong Kong, is essential. For Mirjam, yoga presents the opportunity to strengthen the body, to abandon limiting behavioral and thinking patterns with a clear mind, and to confront herself and others with love. She teaches in German and English. Mirjam was born and raised in Zurich. She studied law at the University of Lucerne and is working as a part-time editor.

Fabian Bächli

Fabian, even as a child, loved movement. After first training as a landscaper and after his education to become a social worker, he studied dance for three years at the SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance). After graduation, he stayed on as a teacher. In 2003, his passion for dancing eventually brought him to yoga. From the get-go, he was stoked. As he ventured back to Switzerland, he began to get deeper and deeper into yoga. In Stephen Thomas he found the teacher who introduced him to yoga philosophy as well as to the traditional practices of asana, pranayama and meditation. Fabian's Hatha yoga classes are influenced by different movement languages from contemporary dance. He pays great attention to the best possible anatomical alignment for the body, adapting it to the individual abilities of the practitioner. His classes are also meant to be a journey through the inner body – so practitioners can get to know their own body, can silence their ongoing thoughts and can awaken all the cells within the body. Another focus is set onto the heart – for one, to be more attentive towards one’s own emotional universe, but also, to cultivate happiness and love towards oneself and others. Fabian teaches in German and English.

To have found a way how to live and preserve authenticity in today’s world is reflected in Nina’s awareness, which she lives and conveys in her classes - always with the perspective of being a student herself. Nina understands Yoga as an expression of living a conscious life, dedicating love and insights into the well-being of people around her. The beauty of the path lies in discovering life in its purest forms and thus growing a profundity and sensibility with the findings thereof which can be practiced and lived on and aside the mat. Her practice is influenced by elements of the Iyengar Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa. She knows how to preserve the individual yet universally true essence of asana and to convey yoga as a journey to inner peace and contentment. 
Nina is a student of yoga since 2012 and is currently completing the +300hrs Teacher Training at AIRYOGA Zürich. Nina teaches her classes in English.

Frank started growing in the Swiss Alps, then Zurich, New York and San Francisco. He lived in Vancouver, Canada, for 10 years. He received his Yoga teacher training from Ifat Erez in Canada and at the Sivananda Ashram in Kerala, India, and studied Yin Yoga with Paul Grilley.

Stephen has been a dedicated student of yoga since 1998. He has practiced, taught and lived in Asia and Europe for the past decade studying various traditions, which he incorporates into a unique yoga practice influenced and made possible by the grace and support of his central teachers. 
Stephen’s background includes studies in Buddhism, Ayurveda and traditional Hatha yoga in India. In Asia, he continues an in-depth study of traditional Pranayama and Kriya through his master, O.P.Tiwari, which he combines with his love for the Asana practices that stem from his experience with Krishnamacharya’s work and influence on the Ashtanga Vinyasa and Iyengar systems of yoga. He also brings in elements of the Chinese and Tibetan systems where appropriate. 
Stephen is an avid reader and student of Eastern philosophies and a lifelong lover of the arts and music. His ability to re-frame various viewpoints and to simplify things without sacrificing depth and integrity has helped him develop a unique, non-dogmatic but deeply rooted teaching style. His works spans Meditation, Pranayama, Asana and the commitment to seeing the practice off the mat. He uses these methods as tools for health and wellbeing and to support the spiritual pursuit of living life courageously and compassionately from one’s heart.
Stephen teaches classes and workshops at AIRYOGA in Zurich, as well as spending a part of each year traveling as a guest instructor and teaching retreats throughout the world. Since her first encounter with Yoga in 1995, Gisela has practiced and studied with many amazing and gifted teachers. She has delved into Kundalini Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga Vinyasa in Mysore, Anusara, Classical Hatha Yoga and Birthlight Pre + Postnatal and Well Woman Yoga. She has completed over 500-hours Yoga Alliance accredited training and many further education courses. She is a Training Tutor for Birthlight and leads international trainings in Perinatal Yoga.
Gisela has been teaching since 2004. By guiding her students through the physical form and focusing on the breath, she invites them to make their own inner explorations and discover the qualities of joy and gratitude that lie within themselves. Students appreciate her calm and positive manner, her precise and detailed instructions, and the mix of power and restoration that they take away from her classes. 
Gisela's work in Birthlight Yoga has enriched her practice and teaching immensely. By freeing up the rigid physical form of asana to tune into the body's rhythms and seasons, we develop a deep awareness and confidence in our own intuitive wisdom. Yoga, for Jasmin, is a way to „get on the mat“ and recharge our batteries. Her intention is to establish a connection between Yoga and living a happy, fulfilled daily life. In her classes, Jasmin invites her students to incorporate both strength and serenity in their practice so that they can go back energized and restored to their professional and private lives off the mat. Jasmin’s teaching style is dynamic, energetic and varied. She combines this with breathing and relaxation exercises.
As a business professional in Corporate Communications, Jasmin understands the demands of the corporate world, so when she started looking for ways to balance those challenges she found yoga - or maybe it was yoga that found her! She was immediately fascinated by Yoga’s positive effect on both body and mind.
Jasmin attended her first yoga teacher training at AIRYOGA in Zurich in 2009. Four years later, she completed her 500-hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training at ISHTA Yoga in Stockholm. In order to deepen her knowledge on what constitute a healthy, sustainable lifestyle she regularly attends workshops and seminars on Mindfulness, Stress Management and Ayurveda.

Anya’s intention is to act as a conduit for her students when she takes the seat of the teacher, guiding practitioners toward physical sustainability and mental curiosity, all underlined by the buddhist concepts of compassion and interdependence. Her work is grounded in the science of anatomy and physiology and yet seeks to speak to the artist’s heart through creative sequencing and exploration of postures (her signature Breakti® class is one example of this).
Anya began teaching movement at University in 2000 while simultaneously pursuing a degree in Plant Biology, and found her way to yoga through a dance-related injury in 2003. That injury changed the course of her life, and to this day she is fascinated and intrigued by the miraculous ability for the body, mind and heart to heal. Her studies and personal practice since that time have had particular emphasis in therapeutic applications of asana, and her deep desire to know and understand the mind and heart has led her to ongoing work in buddhist meditation, psychology and philosophy. After ten years of teaching and living in New York City, Anya relocated to Zurich, Switzerland with her husband in May of 2015. As a business professional in Corporate Communications, Jasmin understands the demands of the corporate world, so when she started looking for ways to balance those challenges she found yoga - or maybe it was yoga that found her! Jasmin attended her first yoga teacher training at AIRYOGA in Zurich in 2009. Four years later, she completed her 500-hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training at ISHTA Yoga in Stockholm. She feels blessed to have completed several Anusara teacher trainings and immersions with Patrick Creelman, a highly inspiring and profound teacher. After giving birth to her baby girl, Mirjam further attended a pre- and postnatal teacher training program with Jean Byrne and Michelle Papa. The intensive mentoring with Rinat Perlman, the managing teacher of the Pure Studio Hong Kong, is essential. For Mirjam, yoga presents the opportunity to strengthen the body, to abandon limiting behavioral and thinking patterns with a clear mind, and to confront herself and others with love. Fabian, even as a child, loved movement. After first training as a landscaper and after his education to become a social worker, he studied dance for three years at the SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance). After graduation, he stayed on as a teacher. In 2003, his passion for dancing eventually brought him to yoga. From the get-go, he was stoked. As he ventured back to Switzerland, he began to get deeper and deeper into yoga. In Stephen Thomas he found the teacher who introduced him to yoga philosophy as well as to the traditional practices of asana, pranayama and meditation. Fabian's Hatha yoga classes are influenced by different movement languages from contemporary dance. He pays great attention to the best possible anatomical alignment for the body, adapting it to the individual abilities of the practitioner. His classes are also meant to be a journey through the inner body – so practitioners can get to know their own body, can silence their ongoing thoughts and can awaken all the cells within the body. Another focus is set onto the heart – for one, to be more attentive towards one’s own emotional universe, but also, to cultivate happiness and love towards oneself and others. After her Primary school teacher education, Natalia completed her Theatre and Dance education in Zurich. She then moved to Amsterdam to deepen her studies in contemporary dance at the SNDO (School for new dance development). In the following years, she got the opportunity to perform in Germany and Switzerland.
Throughout her journey as a professional dancer, Natalia got influenced and inspired by Yoga Asanas, Body Mind Centering, Contact Improvisation and Thai Chi. By pursuing her desire to share the gift of yoga with others, she has attended the 2013 Teacher Training at AIRYOGA with Stephen Thomas.
Natalia’s classes are dynamic and powerful.  She emphasizes on alignment and a steady connection to the breath and to support that, she offers verbal and hands on adjustments. Hong Kong - ever-changing, competitive and hectic, created an exciting stage for Mirjam to dive deeply into the studies of Yoga. She feels blessed to have completed several Anusara teacher trainings and immersions with Patrick Creelman, a highly inspiring and profound teacher. After giving birth to her baby girl, Mirjam further attended a pre- and postnatal teacher training program with Jean Byrne and Michelle Papa. The intensive mentoring with Rinat Perlman, the managing teacher of the Pure Studio Hong Kong, is essential. For Mirjam, yoga presents the opportunity to strengthen the body, to abandon limiting behavioral and thinking patterns with a clear mind, and to confront herself and others with love. She teaches in German and English. Mirjam was born and raised in Zurich. She studied law at the University of Lucerne and is working as a part-time editor.

Fabian, even as a child, loved movement. After first training as a landscaper and after his education to become a social worker, he studied dance for three years at the SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance). After graduation, he stayed on as a teacher. In 2003, his passion for dancing eventually brought him to yoga. From the get-go, he was stoked. As he ventured back to Switzerland, he began to get deeper and deeper into yoga. In Stephen Thomas he found the teacher who introduced him to yoga philosophy as well as to the traditional practices of asana, pranayama and meditation. Fabian's Hatha yoga classes are influenced by different movement languages from contemporary dance. He pays great attention to the best possible anatomical alignment for the body, adapting it to the individual abilities of the practitioner. His classes are also meant to be a journey through the inner body – so practitioners can get to know their own body, can silence their ongoing thoughts and can awaken all the cells within the body. Another focus is set onto the heart – for one, to be more attentive towards one’s own emotional universe, but also, to cultivate happiness and love towards oneself and others. Fabian teaches in German and English.

Aurelia Iten

Aurelia teaches a powerful and flowing yoga in which the whole body becomes an experience of breathing and connection between the inner and outer worlds. This can be done through strong dynamic movements but also through movements towards stillness and meditation. Understanding the senses by working with them in the yoga practice reveals almost forgotten spaces and expands our natural capacity to understand ourself and others. This enables students to arrive home and again reside comfortably within their own bodies. 
Behind all of Aurelia’s studies and interests lies this desire to see how people and things communicate and make connection. She experiences this through observation and working with color and form, sound and silence - through play and through stillness. In her engagement as a social worker, designer and now as a yoga student and teacher, she is constantly exploring these themes and learning more and more.
Aurelia initially discovered her love of yoga through dance training. She completed her 200-hour teacher training in Prana Vinyasa Flow with Christine May in Munich in 2015.

Stephen has been a dedicated student of yoga since 1998. He has practiced, taught and lived in Asia and Europe for the past decade studying various traditions, which he incorporates into a unique yoga practice influenced and made possible by the grace and support of his central teachers. 
Stephen’s background includes studies in Buddhism, Ayurveda and traditional Hatha yoga in India. In Asia, he continues an in-depth study of traditional Pranayama and Kriya through his master, O.P.Tiwari, which he combines with his love for the Asana practices that stem from his experience with Krishnamacharya’s work and influence on the Ashtanga Vinyasa and Iyengar systems of yoga. He also brings in elements of the Chinese and Tibetan systems where appropriate. 
Stephen is an avid reader and student of Eastern philosophies and a lifelong lover of the arts and music. His ability to re-frame various viewpoints and to simplify things without sacrificing depth and integrity has helped him develop a unique, non-dogmatic but deeply rooted teaching style. His works spans Meditation, Pranayama, Asana and the commitment to seeing the practice off the mat. He uses these methods as tools for health and wellbeing and to support the spiritual pursuit of living life courageously and compassionately from one’s heart.
Stephen teaches classes and workshops at AIRYOGA in Zurich, as well as spending a part of each year traveling as a guest instructor and teaching retreats throughout the world. He also dedicates energy each year to directing Teacher Intensive Trainings and ongoing education and works one-on-one with many students and teachers in his community. Stephen teaches in English.

Anya’s intention is to act as a conduit for her students when she takes the seat of the teacher, guiding practitioners toward physical sustainability and mental curiosity, all underlined by the buddhist concepts of compassion and interdependence. Her work is grounded in the science of anatomy and physiology and yet seeks to speak to the artist’s heart through creative sequencing and exploration of postures (her signature Breakti® class is one example of this).
Anya began teaching movement at University in 2000 while simultaneously pursuing a degree in Plant Biology, and found her way to yoga through a dance-related injury in 2003.
