Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm: The Art of Teaching – A Guide to Teaching Peak Pose-Oriented Yoga Classes

This workshop is an advanced training course by Hie Kim. You will receive instructions on how to teach a peak pose oriented class. After various elaborations and conclusions, we will create a class format. From this structure, you can then easily develop a sequence for your yoga class. Afterwards, Hie will teach the class we have studied as an example.

Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm: The Art of Teaching – A Guide to Teaching a Yoga Workshop

In this session, you will learn how to hold a yoga workshop. We will look specifically at the advantages and differences of a yoga workshop compared to a conventional yoga class. You will learn step-by-step how to create a well-rounded experience for your students.

Hie Kim is one of the main teacher trainers of the legendary Inside Yoga Studio which holds its teacher trainings in more than eight locations. There, he takes the role of the compassionate teacher trainer, that will let you conquer obstacles with knowledge and uncomfortable moments with humor.

On 50 weekends a year, Hie teaches hundreds of yoga teachers and is well known in German-speaking Europe and Asia. He writes poems, books on yoga specific topics and organises the Yunion Yoga Festival in Gastein, Austria. Furthermore, he teaches multiple video series on the premium online yoga platform tintyoga.com.

Hie’s biggest premise in his Yoga classes is, that the class itself is created in the space between teacher and student. He teaches this reactive teaching style – known as echo sequencing – to yoga teachers in his 35-hour training course ‘The Art of Teaching’.

With a keen sense of methodology and a sensitive mind, Hie picks up his students right where they are and takes off to a journey where body, mind and emotions cross roads. His poems in shavasana are especially popular.

When not teaching, Hie Kim enjoys spending time in the kitchen or cuddling with his two cats, Yani and Yumi.
